An ideal opportunity to orientate yourself with the points of interest at the start of your holiday. Experience both the beguiling beauty and the hidden darker side of the mountains in the Chamonix Valley. We will drive to Le Tour, passing through the pretty hamlet of Le Praz and the village of Argentiere. After photo stops, we retrace our steps to Chamonix town, and take the old road pass Lake Gaillands to Les Houches the home of World Cup Skiing.

During our tour you will hear the tales of natural and man-made disasters that have haunted this beautiful valley. Discover the sites together with the Les Bossons Glacier.

Our morning together finishes by the chairlift at the foot of the Bossons Glacier in Les Bossons. Here you can take the option to ascend the chairlift (Ad. €10, Ch. €8) to see the glacier up close or enjoy a relaxing lunch in the adjacent Restaurant Le Tremplin, and then spend your afternoon at leisure. Alternatively, you may return directly with us to Chamonix where we have a single drop-off at the railway station.

Note: This tour may be combined with our afternoon tour to Merlet Animal Park and the Gorges de la Diosaz. (July & August). In which case we will collect you again from Les Bossons.
